Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 10 series earlier in the year in India. The series brought with itself three new phones, the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the Redmi Note 10 and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max . These phones come as successors to the Redmi Note 9 series which was launched in India last year. The new Redmi Note 10 series features some interesting specifications including Super AMOLED display on all three
devices.
Talking about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, it comes with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 48MP primary camera sensor. The Redmi Note 10 series comes with 33W fast charging and is upgradable to MIUI 12.5.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 price starts at Rs. 11,999 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant while the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model is priced at Rs. 13,999. The phone is available in Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black colours.
The phone has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 100 per cent DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and up to 1100 nits of peak brightness. The phone comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection against accidental scratches and drops. The device has 8.3mm of thickness and weighs 178.8 grams.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 octa-core SoC, up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM along with Adreno 612 GPU. The phone runs on Android 11 with the company’s proprietary MIUI 12 on top. This ensures that the phone can match up to the competition being offered by similarly priced phones.
The phone is available in 64 GB and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512 GB) through a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging (supported charger is in the box).
The phone has a quad rear camera setup that houses the 48 MP primary Sony IMX582 sensor, along with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, 2 MP macro shooter, and a 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies and video chats, the phone comes with a 13 MP selfie camera sensor at the front.
